We are Debbie Berta and Jayme Lucas, dedicated pet
owners and hard working Clevelanders. We started this company because we wanted an alternative to the store
bought treats with preservatives, ingredients you can't pronounce, and EEK! Pet food recalls!
Why fundraising? Well, Debbie has over 20 years of experience with pet rescue and charity work and Jayme has 6 years
of experience with grantwriting and fundraising work, with a Masters in Urban Planning, Development & Design from CSU
(top ranked urban college in nation). Let us unleash this experience, passion, and expertise to bring your organization to the next level.

Rusty, Chairman of the Board for Rusty's Paw, is a beautiful 8 year old retriever mix
that Debbie rescued from an abusive owner for a 6 pack of beer!
Coconut
Candy, Company Princess, is Jayme's 1 year old husky mix
(and baby!).
Jake, Company Consultant, was also rescued. He is the very handsome and beloved
pet of Debbie's sister Dana (who does our bookkeeping, consulting, helping and whatever else one can think of!)
Deja, Company Charity Chooser, is Debbie's gorgeous "grand puppy".

We want to take a moment to thank all of our family and friends who have helped and inspired
us. This includes, but is certainly not limited to, Vince, our TX consultant, Mom who bakes and joins us at events-
rain or shine.., Dana, Debbie's daugther Melissa, Jayme's dad & Karen, Uncle Ron, all of Deb's sisters and
mom, Lara, Jennifer Dial, and of of course our darling Sarita who inspires us with her strength. (Her mom Kamla isn't
so bad either!)
We also want to thank all of our customers who keep us filled with ideas, wonderful stories,
and feedback. A special thanks to Laura- Milo's mom, Sharon, and Kelly, Bruno's mom who have stuck with us from
the beginning and even let us name our treats after their pets.
